Woe and thunderation
So I’m basically always sick; it is, after all, what my life has become. Woe, woe and thunderation. But today I’m extra special acutely ill with a fever and stuff. In honor of my awesome shiny new suffering, and in lieu of using my braised brain for thinking about sex, life, society, and/or my place in them, it’s linky time!
Evey, the ultra-endearing blogger at Voyeur on Display, has a shiny new site! I give you Eveybird.com.
My favorite Married Freaks went to a nudist dinner party. I never knew it until now, but I won’t be entirely satisfied with my life until someone invites me to a nudist dinner party.
Yesterday was Holly’s last day at her job! And this is an extremely good thing. Now she’s freed up to pursue a career that hopefully kicks almost as much ass as she does. I suggest TV exec.
If anyone has any fun or interesting links to share or shamelessly self-promote, leave them in comments! I’m certainly in the market for distractions today.
Up until last summer I used to get sick every 1-2 months for weeks at a time. Someone suggested I take probiotics for a month and I’ve oddly stopped getting sick ever since. I figured it was all in my head after the first couple of months but I’ve now only been sick once in the past 9 months, which is extremely unusual. So maybe give that a try? I did two different kinds a day, one was a pill (that tasted oddly like freeze dried yogurt) and the other were those once a day Danactive yogurt + juice drinks. Hope you feel better soon <3
@Marie Thanks! I’m so glad you’re feeling healthier lately. I am all about the probiotics, and I’ve tried a lot of brands and types. What’s your favorite? The current issue is strep throat, so you can bet I’m going to be taking double doses after I’m finished with these antibiotics.
The chronic stuff is just a clusterfuck.
Thanks for the link! It was different, but I’m so glad we got to experience it.
I’m so sorry you are feeling crummy.
@quizzical pussy Seems I spoke too soon x-x I seem I have picked up a sore throat in the past day and half, along with everyone in my house! It’s not too bad at least.
I use Accuflora, in addition to Danactive. I haven’t really tried any other brands, but that one was the cheapest at the store. It’s a little hard to swallow I think, but the overall reaction I’ve had to both it and the Danactive seems to be positive, so I try to take some every few months.
Hope you’re recovering =)
